Gora's rage shows a nice spiel on class war; rage is probably the first step towards social change. We often forget how Robithakur has been hijacked and made the icon of "The Bhadrolok class" who were actually created by the colonial Master's for their bureaucratic management of the colonial territories and a new regime of power was created by separating them from the subaltern class; since the Bhadrolok class in Bengal were created by the colonial Master's they had to assert their separateness from the Master's by creating a space of difference, thus creating "amader Robithakur" excluding the subaltern, the chotoloks. The script is going in an interesting way such that two person from the Bhadralok class now are in search of a "chotolok"... quite interesting....
